Yesterday I was in the car with the family and I usually quiz the kids on our address and phone numbers and things like that. I asked Brooklyn when her birthday is, which she's known since she was 2, but I wanted to know if she knew what year. I asked her "what year is your birthday?" and she said "every year!" Kind of like duh mom, didn't you know our birthdays come every year! Too funny!

Sorry we missed you at the family party. We didn't make it either because we had another family party at the same time.
